Hope Camp

We love the new bikable section of the AZT from Pistol Hill to Hope Camp! On our most recent excursion, the Rincons were glowing from a recent snowstorm!

Hope Camp is in ruins, but it's an incredibly peaceful place. I love to sit in the shade of the mesquites, listening to the creaky old windmill, and imagining what life was like for the folks who ranched here in the last century.
